with a male passenger. the flight landed safely in milwaukee around 8:45 pm wednesday night but the airline tells us the passenger had to be physically restrained. a person with knowledge of what happened tells fox6...a man started acting suspiciously and things escalated quite quickly. we are told the flight attendants had to detain the passenger. wh met by local law enforcement officials who removed the passenger. interfering with flight crew members or flight attendants is a federal offense. southwest officials say their primary concern is the safety of their customers. they say they are working with local authorities on the incident. reporting live in milwaukee deandra corinthios fox6 news. developing overnight --- milwaukee police are searching for a suspect after a shooting near mcgovern park. just after nine last night police were called to the area of custer avenue and hopkins street. officers say a 27 year old man was taken to the hospital with a serious gunshot injury. the shooting is under
police officer could soon be out of a job. today chief ed flynn will discuss his decision to fire one of his officers... with the fire and police commission. sahn-than-hah raj-ah- foo-mee sonthana rajaphoumi was charged with soliciting a child for sex and child enticement.a criminal complaint says he approached two teenaged girls, one in october of last year, the other in april and made sexual overtures. the chief says raj-ah-foo-me rajaphoumi violated the department's core values of integrity.he wants the officer to be dischar removed from the payroll immediately. rajaphoumi faces up to 75 years in prison. he'll be in court next month. also happening today --- donald trump's daughter ivanka will be in our area. she'll be speaking at the crowne plaza in wauwatosa at 12:30. she will then head to eau claire later this afternoon. today both candidates return to the campaign trail today after a bruising night in las vegas. the two squared off in the third and final presidential debate. angelica is in the newsroom with some of the highlights and the impact it may have on the race. one of the most talked-about

at that time, the judge ordered dassey be released unless there was an appeal or retrial. with that appeal now filed -- the 7th circuit court will decide if the ruling stands. we're learning more details about the officer-involved shooting of sylville smith. it's the incident that sparked two nights of violent protests in the sherman park neighborhood. an unsealed search warrant is shedding light on another investigation that was conducted near the scene. police wanted to go through the cell phones found inside the car smith was in... for a drug ve the state d-o-j also says investigators found heroin and cocaine inside the car - enough to make them think it was for drug dealing. a green bay man was with smith at the time and was arrested on the spot. smith, of course, ran from police. they say an officer fatally wounded smith when he turned and pointed a gun at the officer. the d-as office here says it has reviewed this drug case but has yet to file any charges, instead opting for further investigation. the review of the officer-involved shooting of smith is still onoing; there is no timetable for a decision in that case.
explosions rock portland. and new jersey governor chris christie is heading to court. angelica is here with a look across america. governor christie will appear in court for the first time next month in connection to the so-called "bridgegate" scandal. christie's november 23rd court appearance is in connection to a citizen's complaint filed by bill brennan. brennan accused christie of failing to stop the closure of lanes on the new jersey side of the george washington bridge back in 20-13. critics say the lane closures were done to punish the mayor of fort lee, new jersey. christie has long denied wrongdoing. n-b-a star derrick rose has been cleared in a rape lawsuit. rose's ex-girlfriend accused him and two of his friends of sexually assaulting her in 20-13. she was suing for 21-million dollars. rose's attorney called the lawsuit a blatant attempt to get money from the new york knicks player..... but the woman's attorney says it was a "classic case of gang rape.'' although the lawsuit is resolved, the los angeles police department is still conducting a criminal
natural gas explosion in portland, oregon. billowing pillars of smoke filled the air and could be seen for miles yesterday. according to a spokesperson-- a contractor hit a gas line, causing a leak. three firefighters, three civilians and two police officers were hurt. none of the injuries are life-threatening. the utility company says it hasn't determined what caused the gas to ignite. happening now --- fighting continues in mosul, iraq., iraqi forces launched an attack on villages held by isis terror militants earlier this week. this is day just this morning the iraqi prime minister said the offensive is going faster than expected. however, one u-s general says this battle could last months. as many as 200 people are dead following turkish airstrikes in syria overnight. turkish jets struck 18 syrian kurdish militia targets-- just north of aleppo. the militia group is known to the united states as a "the peoples protection units." the u-s government also considers them the most effective force against isis in syria. turkey says the group is
